Suresh has a refrigerated haulage contract with Toll that requires him to insure his prime mover and show them a Certificate of Currency that covers Trailer in Control for up to $200,000 as well as cover for his goods in transit with up to $150,000 any one conveyance.
Suresh has a Transport Operators Package with two different insurers – his truck and trailer cover is with one insurer, but his goods in transit cover is with another insurer to give him the best possible premium.
When Suresh has a not at fault claim, it doesn’t matter to him who his insurer is – he knows his broker has placed the cover with reputable underwriters and they will handle the different parts of his claim for him.
